We seek to reflect the love of God in the fellowship of Ridgley Bible Chapel and in the wider community.
WE BELIEVE IN:
1. The Bible as the inspired word of God.
2. The Trinity of the Godhead consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. God as the Creator, the Supreme Ruler and the Supreme Judge to whon all must give account.
4. Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son of God who died as the once-only sacrifice for the sins of mankind. That He rose from the dead, then ascended to Heaven, from whence He will come again to call His people from all ages to eternal life. That He will ultimately condemn all unbelievers to eternal punishment along with Satan and his followers.
5. The Holy Spirit who indwells every believer from the moment of conversion.
6. All mankind being born in Sin. (Romans 3:23) The only escape is through a personal belief in the Lord Jesus Christ that gives those who believe, eternal life. (Acts 4:12)
7. Baptism by total immersion of confessed believers.
8. Observance of the Lord's Supper each Sunday.
9. Our role as encouraging the spiritual growth of all believers, while using every possible avenue to bring the gospel to all unbelievers. This means being supportive of missionary activity at home and abroad.
10. The need to heed Samuel's words, 'God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you." (1 Samuel 12:23)
